Im sick and tired of seeing people slagging off other members of the public, especially those who work in customer service. While it is true that not EVERY person who works in customer service gives excellent service, the majority do or they dont keep the job long. Personally, I find that the more polite and chatty you are as a customer, the better customer service you receive back, which is just as true in any real life scenario. Some customers are downright rude, and receive poor customer service back. While some customers may have a genuine reason to be upset or angry, there is no need to be rude to ANYONE. Whatever your qualm is with the company, the person dealing with you is unlikely to have been the root cause. Most of the people I come across who work in customer service are lovely, several in Sainsburys, Boots, Lloyds, Costa and New Look come to mind, but Im sure members of staff in most establishments in Spalding are lovely, and even if they are trying to sell you something they are just doing their job. Perhaps the problem is not them, but your attitude when you walk into the shop.
