Im simply disappointed by the questions and answers in this group, its amazing to me that people call their selves professional in the crane and rigging industry, yet they are asking questions, and getting wrong answers, about the basics. Osha, asme, ansi, nccco, nccer, all crane manufacturers, and lifting gear company have websites with discussion forums, FAQs, and tech support. Ask a real professional instead of looking like a rookie amongst your peers and co-workers and asking questions that should already be common knowledge to a REAL crane operator or rigger . I dont say alot on Facebook but after what Ive seen here recently, I ask to be removed from the page. Im sure most of the people on this page have their certs but operating and rigging is a gift. Its not something you learn in a classroom or on a computer. Its an art form, not a craft or trade. You either got it or you dont. With that being said. Be safe and carry on.
