Im sitting in my office jacked up on CILTEP and listening to Tchaicovsky on Pandora while I research the origins of things like online sales letters, autoresponders, and upsells for a report Im writing. Tonight and tomorrow I have calls scheduled with Internet marketing pioneers Matt Bacak and Marlon Sanders. In the meantime as I scour the net for details waiting for my calls with these legends... Its become obvious to me that the most important book any Internet marketer should read is Joel Comms Click Here To Order. Joel has done an amazing job of collecting all of the details on how the Internet and eCommerce was born. Even if you arent a business owner you might still find this information entertaining. Joels got a very witty comical writing style. Seriously, people shouldnt be allowed to have a website until theyve read Joels book and the Cluetrain Manifesto. In fact, Im going to buy 10 copies of each right now and give them away to the first 10 commenters (via kindle gifts). SIDENOTE: I know this looks like an attempt to game my edgerank, but if you know me then you know I hardly need help with that. My intention is to help improve the quality of information and education around Internet marketing.
