Im so Savannah (Hitch Village) I remember doing left foot throughout hitch village, playing linkman, packem up bustem up, old red devil, redlight green light, mother may I, the Village Store on Wheaton Street, Old Man Mickey, Ben Clark, Brother Bean, Frank Callen Boys Club, Food Town, Food Fair, Fred Wessels, Breamer Cement Company, bus rides was $.40, Phillips 76 gas station, the lumber yard, playing softball n the open lot between Paul Court & Moses Court busting out Mrs Othellas bedroom windows, buying cookies candy sodas & thrills from Mrs Queen & big thrills from Mrs Daniels. Im so Savannah I remember jumping King Kong, Queen Kong & Baby Kong ditch, the recycle building n the front of the village, the railrod track cut going 2 Spencer Elementary & the cut going 2 solider field.
