Im so glad to see all these writers who completed NaNo this year! You guys are all so talented and amazing to put in so much work and dedication over the last month! I didnt participate this year because my schedule of PhD classes and teaching didnt allow it, but Ive elected to do my own NaNo over Christmas break. Congrats to all the authors that made it, and even if you didnt, keep plugging away. Being a writer is the most awesome and challenging thing, and so rewarding to see those word counts rise! Ive seen a lot of authors (not just in this group but in others) who are putting their novel away for the next year until NaNo starts again. From this author, I beg you, dont deprive the world of your creativity!!! I encourage you to take your novel to the next level! Hire a fantastic editor, find a publisher (theres tons out there accepting novels!) and get your novel out there. Dont let NaNo be the end - let it be a fantastic beginning!
