Im so grateful for some recent help from a psychologist to diagnose one of my sons with high-ability autism (formerly called Aspergers). A wonderful therapy dog was there for the testing and I wish all schools had one! Weve long recognized our boys unique perspective of the world. Today, I have lots of hope that the label will help the school see who he really is and teach him the way he needs to be taught.
