Im so happy to let all of you know that Mom has been moved from ICU to TCU. Early this morning, she finally showed signs of waking. Tests confirmed her seizures were not caused by a stroke or a cardiac event. By a process of elimination, the culprit appears to have been pneumonia and a secondary infection. While we have a road to recovery ahead of us, my family and I are so grateful for your continued prayers and all of your kindness. In the midst of this storm, it has been a balm to my heart. As I walked from ICU to her new room, I passed a stranger in one of the corridors. Written on her shirt was the following: Believe there is good in the world. Thanks to all of you, I already knew that. It is a fitting way to end an old year and look forward to a new one. God bless each of you.
