*Im so sad this morning! I was so optimistic when Vicky was penciled for appointment as a Deputy Minister and this is what I wrote about my only encounter with her about 7 years ago which a friend from the other side of the political divide out of mischief re-posted on my wall. What a sad end?* MY FIRST AND LAST ENCOUNTER WITH THE DEPUTY MINISTER OF COMMUNICATION DESIGNATE. It was a Saturday afternoon when I moved from Legon Hall S-block to the night market close to Desperados in Commonwealth Hall in the company of my comrades to have a meal. Afterwards we decided to enter the Hall and see our friends and acquaintances as well as feed our eye and curiosity with some of the follies of the Vandals and if possible partake in some of them to relieve tension and pressure after continuous learning and boredom. Lo and behold here was this immense and strikingly beautiful lady with huge hips and butts. I was told she is called Victoria Hammah and that she was vying for a position in the Student Representative Council (SRC). Apparently, she was on her usual campaign tours. I was standing with a group of Vandals when she came to our group appealing to as to vote for her. The boys werent interested in her message as to what she will do if voted for. They rather mischievously, made a proposal that we enter into a bargain with her. What was this bargain? That we all hug her in turns and have a feel of her boobs and immense butts in exchange for our votes . Surprisingly, she acquiesced and before long there was a winding queue right from where Father Bacchus statue is to even beyond the porters lodge. Anyone who got wind of what was happening also rushed out to join the queue and have a feel of her attractive body. After having had our turns most of us clandestinely re-joined the queue to have another dose of hug. I think I had at least three hugs or so. This went on until she was completely exhausted and pleaded for mercy. In my brief encounter with her, she came across as a very affable, bold, intelligent and beautiful lady. And will do just what you want, so as to extract from you what she wanted (no negative motive implied). As to whether that is her real self or it was just a ploy to garner our votes I really cant tell. As for her competence, Im unable to assess that due to the brievity of our encounter, however I hope to be able to do that now, though from afar. The only admonishment I have for you (Victoria Hammah) at this juncture is that, try and work hard to prove wrong your critics, who largely think you got this appointment not on merit but for other reasons. This stereotypical stance against you and women in general is unfortunate but thats the reality on the ground. So please, work even harder to justify your inclusion and the confidence reposed in you by Prez JDM and be aware that all eyes will be on you, especially those from your political detractors. I wish you all the best as you prepare to appear before the appointments committe and in your role as a Deputy Minister of state.
