Im so sick and tired of hearing Alward (and a few others, including Philip Knowles of Corridor) say fracking has been done safely in NB and other areas in Canada!!! Is it really being done safely in NB? What about the 60 families who lost their wells when a well was drilled for the potash mine? What about the radioactive blow-out that was left sitting till residents raised enough noise to get it covered... then moved to another well pad? What about the well that leaked for nearly a year? What about air quality testing? If theyre not testing in SJ, we know its not being done in Penobsquis. What about the earth shattering explosion and the sound of jet engines hovering over homes when flaring went wrong in the middle of the night? What about the community divided, unravelling before our eyes? What about the wells fracked in a flood zone? What about the dead and deformed farm animals? What about the milk collected for Northumberland Dairy from cows grazing next to leaking well? What about the water that was not tested prior to fracking in that community as a baseline? And what about the Irving owned print media, Irving owned/corporate owned media that refuses to discuss the matters above?
