Im so sick of this worlds definition of a submissive wife! There is nothing weak or degrading about being submissive. If all of these stupid morning talk shows understood that marriage is a team, and in every team there MUST be a leader and a follower, then maybe theyd give decent advice to their viewers. Instead they tell women to be strong and independent they may as well be giving them 10 easy steps to a crappy marriage. I think women should be able to stand on their own two feet if they need to, but when a wife steps back and allows her husband to be a MAN and LEAD as he is called to by God, then incredible things happen. He doesnt feel nagged, he doesnt feel less than adequate, and he cherishes the woman who makes him feel that way. Besides all of that, answer this question GMA and Today What takes greater strength? Giving into your pride and crushing your marriage Or Making a daily effort to be humble and loving for the benefit of your family. Rant over lol
