Im sorry all.... But I used to really enjoy this feed.... Recently, I unattached because it was bombarding my page with things that were not pertinent to the focus... Remember In Albuquerque When..... Below is my response to a post about the actress in the Beverly Hillbillies that played Ellie Mae passing away.... I read the article, and politely asked what it had to do with Albuquerque..... A nice gentleman by the name of Ben replied that they had all watched the show and lived in Albuquerque.... Below is my reply.... Im not trying to be disrespectful or antagonistic.... I really used to enjoy this feed, but it has appeared to lose its focus recently.... I hope people interested in the actual topic will agree and help to correct it..... Ben. So did I, but I thought the whole point of this blog was to talk about Albuquerque related things.... I also watched the Clampetts in the Philippines, Okinawa, Wyoming, and while in the University of Washington Medical Library.... But when Im logged into my Granny blog, I dont try to associate people from those other topics with The Beverly Hillbillies... I appreciate your response.... Just trying to understand.... I grew up in Albuquerque and loved the Remember In Albuquerque When... Blog, but recently had to unattach because my feed was bombarded by people who were using it to share their daily insights, personal opinions, world views, etc.... I liked hearing about Mexican food, the Tram, Sandia Skiing, Eldorado High School Football, the Balloon Fiesta, The Rio Grande, Etc.... Im sorry if I dont understand why Ellie Mae from the Beverly Hillbillies passing away has to do with the intention of this blog.... I once watched an episode of M*A*S*H while stuck on the chairlift at Purgatory from my cell phone, but I wont forever associate the two as one, and tell all my M*A*S*H buddies about my recent tumble down Upper Hades..... Or all my AT&T friends about M*A*S*H because I watched it from my phone.... Am I off the mark here? Dont get me wrong.... If you come to SoCal and fulfill your dream of eating a blakes green chile double cheeseburger while sitting on your surfboard, Im completely good with that.... But when people want to share their personal opinions on life subjects not directly related to the beautiful city I was born in, Albuquerque, I simply have to ask for the relation of the two so I may understand... :)
