Im sorry to bring this up again, but I think that this video is the most amazing thing ever. This YouTube channel is called Eat Your Kimchi, and its run by a married Canadian couple named Simon and Martina. They travel to Korea a lot, speak Korean pretty well, and talk about things like KPOP, Korean culture, comparisons, etc. Both of them were teachers before in Korea as English teachers, so they have experience in schools as well. This video is called Ladies Code and Car Accidents in KPOP. https://youtube/watch?v=qWFYDkQ9GV8 A while ago, they did a video called Dongho Quit KPOP, and Why We Would, Too. youtube/watch?v=B-tYOnFFS0E I actually had the dream to become a KPOP idol. I love performing, I play cello, piano, & guitar (but I dont guitar, I dunno. . .), I like to think that Im a somewhat-good dancer (the last time I danced in public was 2012, and that was T.E.R.R.I.B.L.E., but I think I got better?), and I even took vocal lessons (3-octave range, baby~!) But fear stopped me. Im not good-looking. I dont want to be treated like an object (coughcoughSMTOWNcough). I dont like being in cars that much. I dont want to be overworked. I want to have fun. You know those stories about musicians that are in it for the music and all that cheese? That kind of what I was. I LOVE music. I have good relative pitch, I can sight-sing, and I want to make the audience feel something. But groups (no offense if youre a fan, these are just examples) like Lip Service, Nasty Nasty (this is a collaboration, but it came to mind), etc. Songs like (again, no offense) Video Game, Hamburger, etc. I dont want an image like that. Like, would you guys be willing to be in a group like that and sing songs about that? No. Albeit, some labels are better than others (usually the smaller labels are a bit more fun in their music choice, like FNC or Cube over YG & SM). But still. Im sorry, Im just really frustrated about this. I cant begin to fathom what EunB and Rises parents are going through right now. Losing your child is the worst thing that can EVER happen to you. Ive never had a child (obviously too young), but imagine having a beautiful boy or girl, watching him/her grow up, be talented, smart, attractive, your EVERYTHING, and suddenly, he/shes gone. Its so unimaginable, but unfortunately its a reality. Now, usually, I post here for Likes. Likes promotes the Page. Likes make the Page more popular. In short, Likes are good. But for this one, Id like to read some comments. I dont care if theyre good or bad. I dont care if you say, I agree with the videos or Shut up, you dont know what youre talking about. (And by the way, I think I do. Im Korean. I have family, friends, my life there. I may not understand Korea fully like my friends, who were born there or lived there longer than me, but I think I know enough to say this.) I will try to reply to every one of your comments. Again, my condolences to the families of Ladies Code, who have to spend Korean Thanksgiving with an empty spot at their table. Credit to Eat Your Kimchi for the videos and allkpop for the information regarding the crash. -Admin Fanboy
