Im sorry to hit you guys over the head with so many music/sax post but Ive been in a serious listening mode. I realized after hearing this song here just why I dont like a lot of the new music today -- a couple things: 1) NO melody! singers are basically talking in rhythm and the lyrics are SO rushed! I miss hearing and falling in love with beautiful melodies. 2) tempo ... there are NO slow songs, I mean REAL slow slongs ... it seems that even slow songs/ballads have the same metronome markings/tempi as the uptempo tunes ... AND they too are almost Spoken words. :-( I put a metronome on and listened to the radio and just about EVERY song had the same moderato tempo. IF it was slow the words were spoken really quickly most of the times. LOL -- well, here is a beautiful melody that was originally sung by Josh Groban. One of the exceptions. I tried, but Im sure that I didnt do it the same justice as Josh did ... so, check out Joshs version in the comments. ENJOY and let the melody soak into you soul. (PS.
