Im sorry to say that Peanut has taken the journey to Rainbow Bridge. His health has been deteriorating since he came into rescue two weeks ago. Today, after bloodwork this last week indicated multiple organ issues, an ultrasound was done and it confirmed at least one very large, cancerous and inoperable mass on his liver. He had already stopped eating and was suffering. Im so thankful that because of David Hensley and Sarah Lynn Bish Peanut did not die alone and scared in that Milwaukee shelter. Im grateful to Sarah and her family for showing Peanut nothing but love and comfort for the past couple of weeks. He knew snuggles and laying on the couch and sleeping in the bed and eating the good stuff when he would, and lots of kisses. I struggle not to be angry at the people who abandoned this precious little man in his greatest time of need for attention, compassion and love. For Im sure he gave plenty of love in his lifetime. RIP Peanut and run free little man, you suffer no longer!
