Im sure a lot of you have watched the video of Ray Rice punching his then-fiancé knocking her out cold then drag her out the elevator. It was disturbing to see it with my eyes..I was pissed, embarrassed as a man, because heres a guy that was looked at as a role model to many, then this video appears from out of nowhere..and I think of all the women Im close with, like my mother, my sisters, my female co workers and Im like...I would never put my hands on a woman PERIOD! Thats not in my blood to do that because I wasnt brought up to disrespect women through violence and I think the NFL made the necessary moves to suspend him indefinitely because they wont tolerate domestic violence and this story is not over, and its just started..lemme say this to the ladies out here, men should never hit a woman for any reason..if a man hits you, leave the guy...bottom line! Im sure you all know that, but I had to express my feelings and it brought tears to my eyes because I see a woman being beat down and Im thinking..thats a human being and she was helpless..its sad that violence against women still goes on today :( Once again, men must respect women always through love, care, protection, and sincerity.
