Im sure many of my high school friends think Ive lost my marbles - TopicsExpress

Im sure many of my high school friends think Ive lost my marbles with all these weird photos and related experiences, and i understand. But i hope each of you will look at this fantastic subject logically for a moment. Lets compare beliefs ,,,,, The belief in UFOs is considered crazy by many but what is it at its most basic level? Its the belief in another group of beings , and its a belief in their means of travel. Yours- (and my belief in God) is a belief about an unseen being who lives in the clouds, who has a dimension like world in the clouds, with a wild assortment of beings populating it, cherubim and sari-fum, arch angels , men with wings . In this belief he created the very ground we stand on, created the air we breath, and has appeared in the form of a column of fire and a burning bush. The belief in UFOs is nothing more than the belief in a physical being riding in a sky car, a machine that will probably break down some day just like our own car. The belief God is a much larger leap of faith, in much more fanciful imagery I believe in UFOs because Ive seen them, my eyes are in great shape, and my mind is relatively sound. My belief in God is not because Ive seen him, (it isnt because any other living human has.) The reason i believe in God is that with all the growing darkness in our lives, (i choose)to believe in something better,i choose (in spite of my own failings) to have a source of light in my life. You may believe in much the same way,,,. I guess for you to take my word about UFOs and such, it cant be a matter of faith, it has to be a matter of trust. Ask yourself if you feel you know me at all, and then ,,,do you think Im the type person who would add to ,compound our already confusing world of lies, would i cause you needless fears added to the many that await us each day? And ask yourself this finally as well,,,If there is the smallest chance these things are real- Which enlightenment about them would you wish for your children,,,, the awareness of these things through your discussions with them or by waiting until it is thrust upon them in the form of a shocking experience? Is it kinder to live blissfully in the dark, or is it better to be forewarned of every possibility? Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see.
