Im sure that Im going to get beat up (wait wrong choose of words) for asking the question *putting Vaseline on now* but Im very curious... After yesterdays media frenzy and historical social media day of comedy (those memes… lol), I cant help but question my own double standards in assault and domestic violence. Were family, right? So let be honest… not only did I not immediately consider this as a serious assault, but even blamed the victim, Jay-Z, with speculations that he probably did something to Beyonce and/or Solange that made her react in that manner. However, in being honest, not one time did I do that with Rihanna and Chris Brown and even said, it doesnt matter what she did, no woman deserves to be hit. So am I saying thats not the case here? Shouldnt Solange be charged with assault for her actions; even if Jay-Z doesnt press charges? The Los Angeles DA move forward with charges, when Rihanna dropped her charges against Chris Brown because of the serious nature of the incident. I ride for my family and my girlfriends as well (Welcome to My World - Suzette Carty LeSane lol) and in no way am I putting myself on anybody pedestal. I repent everyday and twice on Sunday (lol Charisma). Im just thinking out loud and wanted to get your thoughts as well...
