However, a simple horn toot is sufficient to get the attention of the oblivious driver. It is totally unnecessary to lay on your horn long enough to sing the Star-Spangled Banner before you release it. 1) You may scare someone enough to almost wet their pants and 2) They may have an overwhelming urge to pull over, drag you from your car and slap some manners into you.
