Im taking a breather, with feet up and Otis Reading is Sitting on the dock of the bay... I gets to thinking that Im changing tack and decided that, no matter what I write, theres got to be at least one person who will argue against what is written and so I thought... The best thing is to willingly agree with them wholeheartedly and chuckle to myself as to the thought...What the hell do they do now! Great fun... Anyways... Im thinking back to a time when I was working for myself as a builder and had to convert the rooms above a clothes shop into two flats. The shop was in Greenwich, just before the Cutty Sark and impossible to have a skip outside. (Mustnt upset the tourists!) So here I am with rooms full of those dummy models and nowhere to put them so I can get on with my work. Then I gets a brainwave... I gets on the phone over to the East-End to my relatives and asks them for help. I know, I know...Ive asked the nutters from Stepney to come over and act with care so as not to get me nicked. The next thing I know is theres a bleedin big low-loader pulls up and a gang of my relatives all sitting on the back, nephews, nieces and Uncle Tom Conbley an all! next thing I know is theyve taken over and are staking the models out on the pavement and starts selling them to the public. Well, not actually selling as accosting! Well, it has to happen and along comes the police with a flaming building inspector. Anyways... The relatives start arguing with the Old Biull and I go inside and wait it out. Whatever was said I have no idea but its like Caseys Court down below until the police make them load the dummies of the back of the low-loader and bugger off. I never did bother to find out what happened to the dummies but thats the trouble with my crowd. I asked for a Rocker-Box cover for a Cherry Datson once and they dropped off a bleedin full engine in the road outside the house. I had to strip the engine down, bit by bit and dump it. Ah well...Back to me music and waiting for someone... Well, Im chuckling and sooooo agreeable with my answer!...lol.
