Im thankful for a cozy dinner with my little family; with a husband and son whom I adore more than anything. Im thankful that my mom and brother are together this year for the holidays. Im thankful that I am clothed, fed, warm, and dry, every day, all year; so many are doing without. Im thankful for this blessed life on a historic working farm, where the family who owns it has embraced us as part of their own clan. Im thankful for a barn full of naughty animals who make me laugh and yell and fall in the poop. Im even thankful for a naughty rabbit who shredded a plastic tablecloth all over my dining room, and then looked at me like, What are you gonna do, sister? HUH? Nothing. Thats right. I RULE THIS HOUSE. Im thankful for all of you, too, and this lovely community you share with me.
