Im thankful that after 25 years, Toni Sorenson and I reunited on Facebook. We both survived some fires in life (big ones), and after a two decade break Toni sent me a new lyric in 2012 and I set it to music. The lyric she sent me was based on so many of her own experiences which paralleled mine. And because of numerous other obstacles, it was only this past August that I was able to do a demo recording of the piece. I got to work with the funnest, best singers in the process. Mindy Frandsen Pack, Carrie Maxwell Wrigley, David Drockton and Eric Richards sang on the demo and in the process have become great friends.
