Im thinking I need to expand my horizons and use the computer for things other than surfing and writing. Ive notice I am often unable to find an image online that matches the vision I have in my head when Im thinking about what I want to share. As an example, Ive often thought of my life as a novel. Each day is another sentence, another paragraph, or sometimes even another chapter. This imagery helps me make it through the tough times because I always want to see whats on the next page. I dont want to miss anything. As Ive grown older, Ive come to appreciate this more and more. Ive even come to realize that the people in my life help supply the ink in which I write. When I was looking around at a circle of men during this past retreat/gathering, I started to see an image of me writing that moment into my lifes book. Out of the heart of each of these men came a beautiful thread of energy, swirling, looping, and tumbling like cursive writing in the ether. I could see gold, purple, yellow, red, blue, orange, and green moving towards me and combining together into the ink with which I inscribe my story with the added beauty of the lives of these men. Ive yet to find an image that has even come close to capturing this vision. But I could definitely create one if I knew how. Time to grow!
