Im totally disgusted that the greed of these individuals has led to the cancellation of such a fantastic community event. My heart goes out to the organisers and everyone who was taking part, particularly local children. Sadly Im sure that the chances of the pram race being reinstated for this year are slim however if the community shows its support in a positive way and gets behind plans for next year then who knows? Emotions are running high but having a mob mentality stands to cause more damage and draw bad publicity. Any actions against the garage could potentially damage the surrounding businesses and annoy the residents. Be very careful here as the perpetrators are fast becoming the victims.
