Im trying not to be frustrated over my two bags that are lost with the airlines that I traveled on Sept 10, 2014. But its really hard! Im telling my self its just material items that can be replaced. But my life (figuratively speaking) and peace of mind are packed in my bags when I travel the world to perform and entertain thousands of people. Im meticulous with exactly what I buy and how much it weighs so I can have all the items I need for any situation. It helps me when Im tired and just checking into a hotel and need something for what ever reason, ill have it packed in my bag. If I dont have it, Ill have to get up go out in to the elements and buy things that I could have brought with me. Im discussed with ALITALIA, AIR FRANCE and DELTAs methods and the way they handle baggage. They need to invent a new way!! Its ridiculous the process you have to go through to file claims on lost luggage. There is so much technology in the world and yet there are thousands and thousands of bags that are lost every day due to a paper tag that suppose to stay on your bag shuffling from carts, trucks, planes and baggage belts. Im not the average traveler. Im traveling for business. All my business has to be in my bags minus my voice. Im not your average entertainer. I dont have the luxury to buy things once I get to my destination, or replace anything with ease to my wallet. Thanks to TSA and 911 my job got even harder when you think about carry on allowances and liquids. I can say that OVERALL Im truly grateful to go and see the world. I think I just might come up with a really good solution to solve my having to check a bag period. I can wear one outfit everyday and just try to fit everything I need in a carry on. YES THATS IT... LESS IS MORE!
