Im very dissapointed indeed as to be predestined to belong to this part of the globe,Go to Countries which are less privileged than Nigeria is,in terms of natural and human resources, youll surely spit at Nigeria,Lets Consider Countries Like Upper Volta and The Gambia,is either of them as priviledged and blessed as Nigeria is? NEVER!!! or is it that Nigeria is overpopulated? Can we compare Nigerias population with that of china and india? IMPOSSIBLE!!! Our Problem Here is Spelt in Ten Letters C-O-double R-U-P-T-I-O-N--Corruption! Yes Corruption everywhere in offices, workplaces, schools even in churches and mosque! Infact,it is more disheartening that it even thrives in police-station and courts! It is quite ubiquitous and rampant, unchecked here in Nigeria, you hear of nepotism, favouritism, partiality, injustices, bias and of course, abuse of state pardon and perogation of mercy shown to somebody that should have been left to Rot In Prison! No Wonder we come after Bangladesh and Haiti in Corruption Rating. We are blessed with the land of milk and honey, yet we suffers like those in the sahara desert.we produce and export petroleum and ridiculously enough we are faced with consistent acute fuel scarcity,we queue for petrol, for kerosene, for diesel and even for water! There is Hardly anytin for which we dont queue for. Yet somebody without much grey matter wud describe such as a way of life.stuff and nonsense. Infact,TAI SOLARIN had said it all we are not living in Nigeria,we are only existing Not too Many Years ago,Malaysia took her first palm seedlings from Nigeria, Now she realises more on palm-oil than Nigeria does on petroleum,or will you say the $20bn she realises annually on palm oil is the same thing as the $12bn Nigeria realises on crude oil? And that the Mainstay of the Nigeria economy. We were once recognised as one of the leading producers of Agricultural Produce in the World, what do we see Now? Nigeria imports Rice and Beans! It wud have been better if we had stop at that, but we still import irrelevances. Yes irrelevances!! Or how do you see the importation of matches, toothpaste, toothpick, toilet soap, spoon and insane enough, Packaged Water. Black out today, power failure tommorrow! Thats the Nigeria scene. No Salary today, minimum wage crisis tomorrow! Infact, workers dont get paid until the 37th of the month [only for the cogitaters! To where will this lead us? High cost of living, low standard of living,we are still developing.laqqinq behind with all we are endowed with.Infact those that regard Nigeria as a developinq country are to mind hypocritical; To me Nigeria is an under- developed country! Ours is a country which has seen over two score years and which is still unable to stand upright, lets alone walk, much less run! Let me tell you,a fool at 40 is a fool forever. All these Nothwistanding..we never discontinue fooling ourselves by regarding the country as the GIANT OF AFRICA.....what an IGNOMINIOUS MISNOMER [useless saying] Maybe you are not aware, the late ex-libyan president Mamman Gadaffi was once Interviewed when he was asked that provided he believed in reincarnation, given another opportunity of being the president of a nation, which country would he prefer to rule. His Answer? SIMPLE, he said if there was anytin like reincarnation, given another opportunity as a president,he would prefer to be the President of a country like Nigeria. But why? Because Nigeria, according to him is a country blessed with bountiful natural resources but doesnt know how to manage them. Take a look at swaziland swaziland is a very little sovereign entity having no other resources than sugarcane, yet it is developed to a reasonable extent. Nigeria on the other hand,is blessed with so many human and natural resources.this is to the extent that throwing a stone in any part of the country, you are likely to pelt a doctor,a professor or an engineer.Despite these, there is nothing to show for the generous endowement. Now tell me,why is Nigeria undeveloped? Did you listen to that.? Its a questiön for all and sundry. Despite all the odds against us,youll still be saying that we should be hopeful, for pessimism is unpatriotic.but i put it to you,of what use is ur baseless optimism?you are but in a fools paradise for as long as you are with that nonsensical illusion. One day,One day,it gonna be better is all i have hearing since i was born,i ask when??? #trill_doctor.
