Im very excited to show you all what Ive been working on. This is an old magicians trunk (no joke, truly. I picked it up from his estate a couple months back and have been working on it ever since). I upholstered it to make it a nice ottoman/coffee table or use it as a window seat or at the bottom of the bed. I also restained the whole thing and hand painted arrows on it. There are leather cords with a little gold feather charm at one end and an actual feather on the other end. I painted the inside to match the upholstery fabric, made two coordinating pillows- one with the same hand painted arrow design AND included a fun surprise- I wanted to pay homage to the trunks unique history and former owner so I put a Ronald Dahl quote about magic on the underside of the lid. I am also selling an antique chair that I redid to match it. Solid wood, very old. Best guess- late 1800s to early 1900s. Lets put it this way, it was so old- it was stuffed with hair!
