Im very grateful to Minneapolis-St Paul Business Journal for this slideshow on Giant Steps 2013. Take a look for a glimpse of what 180 artists and entrepreneurs do together at Giant Steps. Im especially grateful for getting business press because one of my personal goals with Giant Steps is building awareness in the larger business community that creative entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial creatives are an important part of the business eco-system. How? 1) They generate revenues, create jobs, and provide services 2) They make MSP a more interesting place to live--which benefits other businesses when theyre trying to attract talent to our somewhat remote, often chilly tundra 3) Many of them are at the forefront of key shifts in how we think about work and how businesses/organizations are run. Were using the conversations that happen at Giant Steps to create a ripple effect in this and other conversations in the community.
