Im very proud of my son... Ive been having a rough time over the last couple of days and he has stepped up to spend time and play with his sister, help get her ready and do things with her.. yesterday his uncle called and said We need help evacuating the people up by Apex because of the fire so without even questioning it, he rushed out the door to help.. while he was up there, they needed volunteer fire fighters to help and he stepped up without hesitation.. he just DOES things that need to be done.. without question, without needing to be asked.. and then.. in the midst of all the chaos, his phone died and he thought My mom is going to think I died so he borrowed someones phone and called me at 2:05 a.m. to say Hey mom.. Im okay. Im not sure when Ill be home but Ill be home later, love you ...... hes 19.. and does these things in a very quiet and humble way.. he just steps up... and I couldnt be more blessed... I love my son
