Im viewing the events in #Ferguson from the lens of a scholar... a Black American Studies major whose taken grad courses on rhetoric and research. Its a historical lens, a in the field lens, an analytic lens. I could write a thesis on the imagery alone... for those who tend to look down on people with social science degrees (ie communications, English, history etc) this is where we step in, cause somebody has to record, translate, & write books, articles, essays for the generations to come to understand what weve experienced.
