Im violating my self-imposed banishment form the aisle of Facebook - TopicsExpress

Im violating my self-imposed banishment form the aisle of Facebook till my works caught up because I need to rant. Loudly. Just attended a 3-hour envy and vitriol conference masquerading as justice. When faced with income inequality, my table wanted to take the the one-percents money, give it to everyone else, and impose a cap on future earning since more isnt fair and they dont need it. I wanted to know who would have the authority to seize these funds and decide this cap. No answer. Except one guy thought a revolution might be in order. When it was time to discuss the education gap, I suggested we seize points from kids who have excessive motivation to study and and give their points to those not passing. This would be fair. I got eye rolls, which I kinda deserved. What really hurts is that poverty, crime, racism, and education are issues that cause actual people actual real-life suffering generation after generation. Being angry at those you perceive to have stuff you dont doesnt elevate or dignify anyone.
