Im watching MSNBC on the UVA rape story, and I have poured through countless column inches covering the story, and I have a question: why am I not seeing or at least hearing from Susan Browmiller about once or twice every 15 minutes? Has this so called culture of ours so devalued its history and historians and most importantly its advocates -- most especially its radical critics -- that we now find ourselves unmoored not just from our history, however flawed, but from caring itself? We are s better people, a better civilization no less because of Susan Brownmiller and other women like her. Attention must be paid...no, more than that. Honor is due.
