Im watching a replay of the Raiders/Vikings game on NFL Network. While Ive been on topic concerning how to dissect and analyze pre season games, another way to look at the game is to take your eyes off the football immediately after the snap and focus your eyes on the entire football field. This way you are able to watch all 22 players at once and see how and where theyre all moving. If you notice closely, the players will all move around and eventually to the football at the end of each play. This is cool, because I can better see how fast or how slow a play is developing. Also, I can better spot O-line blocks and traps as well as receiver routes on the offense. While on the defensive side, I can see how the D-linemen and linebackers shed their blockers and explode to the football, as well as how the corners and deep backs are playing their coverage responsibilities.....just another angle to view the game from.
