Im watching whats happening in Ferguson, Mo. and I have to say we are watching in our country what happens in other countries when the people who represent the government and law enforcement dont live by the same rules they are supposedly there to enforce. What you hear & see from our executive branch and media is concern, disgust and disappointment with these governments and their leaders for not letting the people speak, assemble & protest, as a matter of fact we pride ourselves on telling the world how our freedoms to do such things live and thrive in our Democratic system.......... Today America doesnt look democratic to me, our freedoms seem to have been stymied, suppressed or taken away. Our freedom to assemble has unconstitutional conditions, our police force looks like a military militia, our government doesnt want to hear our voice........ What will WE do? the 1960s bred many revolutionaries that died for the cause, we have not bred enough of those to fight for our cause today let alone die for it. Today our revolution has to be financial. If we stop purchasing food, clothes, gas, movies, etc for one week our government will panic because it is dollar driven, spending driven and WE are the biggest consumer in the U.S That Is Our POWER, Our Dollar...... Lets start spending differently, lets not spend when we feel discriminated against or treated unfairly. It was only when the bus system was near collapse that selma decided to let blacks sit wherever they wanted. Only when downtown and food establishments started to lose money and were on the brink of collapse that blacks were able to eat in food establishments where whites ate or shopped where whites shopped....... Our Power then was Our Dollar, Our Power Now More Than Ever Before Is OUR Dollar..... lets stop spending OUR DOLLARS and Watch What Happens, Thats Our REVOLUTION
