Im with the LDS Church. Lets go back to traditional marriage. Before religion (and government) had their hands in it and it was just a bunch of peasants gathering to recognize the union of their friends and committing to their lives together. *That* is how marriage started. Its documented. Pre-Biblical times. *That* is traditional marriage. If youre going to call it traditional marriage at least know what the Hell youre saying. I hate this time of year. Every year. I read the talks and pick apart the stupid falsehoods in them, I see through the holes and bullshit that ultimately leads to people I care dearly about suffering in one way or another. This is why its so hard for me to accept religion in the world. Not believe it, but accept it. It preaches hate, while masking it in the love of God. That statement does not apply to all religious people, and those few that escape it, are what little bit of hope I have left.
