Im with this statement. Let people come to their own conclusion in their own time. We have to much divisive issues to let hair be one. Id rather have a person with processed hair than a processed mind. One could argue they are one in the same however all of us come to growth and insights at different times...furthermore you should not assume that someone is harboring self hate and wants to appear white because they choose to straiten or use extensions. White women alter their hair and where many weaves...if not theyd all be walking around with stringy straight hair and not all fluffy and full like Farrah Fawcett. Note: Many Afrikan peoples from ancient Kemit to this day altered their hair and even though I do think self expectancy and excepting the idea of another cultures standard of beauty is the case for many women for others it is simply a choice of fashion and easy care. It is up to that person to examine their heart to know why they wear the hair the way they do, not you. Stop the hair bashing....but ladies just be healthy with your hair care. Beautiful hair is hair well taken care of.
