Im working at Caribou Coffee this afternoon and just watched three people being super-awesome. A man in a wheelchair was waiting in line and accidentally backed his wheelchair into a display, knocking over a container of glass tumblers and breaking all of them. He was obviously flustered and started apologizing loudly. A teenage boy who was waiting for his drink at the counter came over without a word and cleaned up all the broken glass pieces. The kind and soft-spoken young barista genuinely reassured the man several times that it was fine, and came around to hand him his drink and make sure he had everything situated in his wheelchair so the drink wouldnt spill on him. And another customer stepped out of line to hold the door open for this man on his way out. All the while I sat at my table in the corner, watched like a creep, and drafted this update. :D But good in the world, guys! Happy feelings right now.
