Rowling ____________ Reply to questions in my inbox {they are all about the same} - Re my #art .. No, they’re not “photomanipulations, although I have nothing against them {it’s an amazing skill!} .. Yes, I can #draw and #paint; I usually draw/paint first, then scan it into Photoshop. I feel that digital editing/painting allows me more freedom to experiment and/or to capture my mind’s eye. I take bits and pieces from just about everywhere and combine them into one. No, I don’t feel like it’s “cheating.” Yes, I do think that it is “real art” and worthy of respect {it doesn’t need to be traditional to be worthy of respect; in fact, I feel the opposite}. While I admire technical skill {self-discipline, practice, patience, persistence, etc}, I’m all about the #creative fire. To each his own .. onward!* #ShatterTheNorm .
