MyDesign are a hugely hard working rock and pop cover band who offer something a little different! Playing covers from a wide range of artists the crowd are always guaranteed a good time, with plenty of songs to recognise, from the 1980s to bang up to date. MyDesign like to offer something a little different, and play their own stripped down, punk pop arrangements of favorites from the last twenty years, all delivered with a twist! The band have caused quite the fuss in the two years they have existed and quickly forged a fearsome reputation for gigging hard around the South west and midlands region, with over 200 gigs in two years from word of mouth alone! The band excel in grabbing audiences and keeping them in the palms of their hands (and in the venue!) delivering hugely fun packed shows with something for everyone! The show is an entertaining affair with plenty of self deprecating banter and humour and the audience are invited to see the performance not as a gig, but simply a party at which the band are happy to help get the mood jumping! Many of the songs are quite removed from the familiar, original versions, and often keeps the audience guessing until the melody and lyrics kick in! Free of any trace of swagger or pretension MyDesign performances are a breath of fresh air, and a great way to spend an evening. MyDesign are able to perform up to three hours of a wide range of often unexpected, yet always popular material. We pride ourselves on maintaining professional standards with the venues we work with, and aim to always be punctual, courteous and accommodating. PLEASE NOTE: We always try to be volume appropriate, and provide a vocal only PA and lights. However the full band does use a standard acoustic drum kit, which limits the minimum volume. If you would prefer a quieter set pease let us know in advance and we can bring acoustic instruments, including a cajon. All songs may not be available acoustically. We will NOT connect our equipment to any automatic, volume related cut off system, as they may cause expensive damage.
