Imagine Sonic Drive Ins telling American consumers that based on what their car-hops were telling them that more and more people were eating their shakes with spoons instead of drinking them through straws. Then imagine the same restaurant changing their shakes, based on the same information, to be thicker and throwing out the outdated straws and replacing them with new spoon, designed to truly help you enjoy the thickness of their shakes. Now imagine Sonic forbidding you from going to another restaurant and buying a drink there, then using the straw from that drink to enjoy your Sonic shake. Now, replace Sonic with Microsoft, shakes with Windows, straws with the old Start Button, spoons with the Metro Start Menu, and carhop gossip with online telemetry. Now you understand how I feel about Windows 8. :-( Thank you MS.
