Imagine a family stuck in a war zone, inside a refugee camp, with no electricity or gas to cook with, with no food or water to provide to their children...what can they do? Now imagine this family is given bags of uncooked rice, wheat, barley, pasta etc...How will they be able to cook all of that without access to a stove? How can a family or a person feed themselves when they just LOST everything they own due to bombing or natural disasters? And if they are provided cooked meals, are they able to store it and save it? Heat it? How will they be able to transport it to the rest of their family members? Now imagine that family has meals that can cook and heat itself without needing anything. Well...this idea is 99% completed. Muslims Giving Back is working on a revolutionary project that will change the way people are fed during disasters & emergencies around the world. We just completed building the machine that will be used to produce these meals. By using the concept of MRE (Meals Ready to Eat), we were able to make HALAL meal packages that will contain food such as rice, lentil and beans and other essentials such as a water bottle, electrolyte package to replenish the body and even a healthy snack like delicious juicy dates. These meals are similar to what the U.S Military uses to feed their soldiers on the battle grounds. We plan to team up and collaborate with a local organization to start producing thousands of these meals in order to be sent to Syria. Winter is around the corner in Syria, and nothing is more important than providing them with winter clothing and food. With this project, they will not have to worry about finding a place to cook it or heat it since it will cook itself.
