Imagine an individual, walking along a desolate dirt trail, simply minding their own business, attention trained to the mission at hand. In the distance, the individual hears gunshots. The sound startles the individual, but they continue on. This person has not slept, eaten or showered for days. The next burst of ear shattering rounds blinds them, causing an immense pain, then sheer blackness. They wake up in Germany, in the best medical facility for injured soldiers. Laying wounded in a hospital bed. The extent of the injuries are extremely irreversible. Death is almost inevitable. Imagine that you are the one at their bedside. You are holding their hand, caressing their forehead, trying to ease the pain, telling them its OK to let go. Now, imagine that is your brother, father, husband or son, fiance. How about your daughter, mother, or sister or even your wife. You know that death is knocking on the door to take them home. You are begging to the LORD above to leave them with you. You are trying to bargain anything that you can to save your loved one, even offering to take their place. Then, its time. You watch your loved one take their last breath and as it leaves their body, you continue to cry. Your already tear streaked cheeks continue to roll your sobs down your chin, dripping onto your dampened shirt. Your head is heavy in your hands. How are you going to be able to get through this? How will you possibly be strong for your children, the friends and family? Now you have to plan funeral arrangements on top of being the rock for everyone to lean on. Let us take that boulder off of your shoulders. We are here to alleviate the pain and suffering and chaos that military families tend to deal with. Albeit the pre-deployment checklist that you had never seen before and are fairly sure not everything was gathered. Or if its sitting by the phone, day by day, waiting on your soldier to be able to make that 30 second phone or Skype call. How about when its been almost 2 weeks and you have not heard a word. You constantly pace by the phone, fax, computer, play CNN on every tv in the house, hoping to get a slight glance of your deployed family member. Let us help you. We are available 24 hours a day. We will help you in whatever way we can. As a military family ourselves, we are prepared to aid in all situations that being part of the “FAMILY” can and will bring you.. Because that is what this is, we, the US MILITARY and their blood and friends, are all FAMILY.
