Imagine if a really drunk, lollopy, slack jawed (notthattheresanythingwrongwiththat) ratfaceman started spouting the worst kind of laughable rhetoric possible . His, not even concieved yet, non ideas are actually quite good ones but they dont have any solutions through policy. Making a mockery of what are essentially socialist ideas within a capitalist society as a whole, by making it look radical and silly and off its face. Then imagine if that idiot had Russel Brands chin ( making it worse , no, not better) Then weep as the world jumps to defend the poor fool. Oh hes only doing his best, bless. He has the best of intentions. Someone get this man a Mark Thomas or someone who can actually formulise a rational argument. I think theres a reason Brand was allowed on Newsnight rather than someone who could actually do some damage. Though its nice that there are now endless discussions all over the web about whether its right to not vote, and whether not doing anything is a good good way of protesting against a, damaged but repairable, democratic system. Democracy means for the people ( or something like that!) so hes essentially arguing against himself anyway. Probably.
