Imagine if institutional policies towards keeping their environments clean (i.e no littering strategies) was just a means to cutting down on the expenses of hiring staff to do the work. That way, if there is no dirt, and we can do the cleaning ourselves, and there is no need to pay workers to do it, we can maximize our corporate interests. Its funny how the privilege you have of not having to care about your environment because there are people who can do that for you, is creating jobs for these people and contributing to their sustainability. Just a thought.
