Imagine, if you can, a 17 year old Ric Humphrey dressed in a tan sweater vest, no shirt, big bell Levis, earth shoes and feathered and styled hair (much like Micks in the video) with his best friend Steve Edmonds (now deceased) cranking out this song in a friends garage and Steve whaling on his Les Paul Sunburst...at the time it was the only song we knew all the way through. We were also going to produce a rock opera based on the album Magicians Birthday by Uriah Heap. I miss my friend Steve, we were the closest of friends and he was, incidentally, how I met my first wife. Steve was going out with her sister Mary.
