Imagine what its like to have a box of 10 one-week-old kittens come in with no mom. Within an hour another six kittens that are only two weeks old with barely their eyes open --again they have no mother. Within an hour of their arrival another group--this time its a mom with three babies just days old and its not even 3 pm and your open for three more hours. Thats a hard day for our admissions staff who struggle with the sadness behind these stories. They try to console the distraught stranger who found them in the parking lot of the elementary school because they are heart broken they cant do more. But their thankful were there for them. Its truly taxing on everyone--the staff, the finder and of course the orphan victims of overpopulation and neglectful owners. BUT YOU CAN HELP! Become a temporary foster parent. It takes only a few weeks of your time to help these fragile animals get through the difficult time. These 10 kittens got lucky as we had a mom who was brought in with no babies but lots of milk. Thats a rare coincidence. Today we were lucky. But tomorrow--were going to need your help.
