Imider: Unification of Eid al-Fitr prayer in Albban. Imider is a very rich village by its natural sources and it locates between Boumalen-dades and Tinghir-Ouarzazate in the south-east of morocco. Historically imider knew many stations of militancy and struggle: 1986, 1996, 2004,2010,2011,2012 and in the road of the third year 2013 of sit-in in mount Albban, so as to be exist with their legitimate rights and living in peace in their land. The demands of the population summarized below: square deal the youth of the common in working within the silver mine. The education Health Protecting every side concerned the pollution Free the political arrests A real development of the common rural of imider And the file of Water The land which s exploited by the company SMI from its beginning of exploitation is not bringing back anything…???? The legality of rights which the Imideriens demand appears and exists in the entire conventions that Morocco signed internationally that are defends human rights. Today 09/08/2013 the population of Imider takes Albban as the place of praying Eid al-Fitr and celebrating the third consecutive Eid al-Fitr in Albban as a continuity of the forms of protest which the inhabitant did from the beginning of august 2011. Albban known from the early hours of this morning a heavy presence of population for prayer on Mount Albban coming from the villages of the common (Ayt brahim,ayt Ali, Ayt mhand,anounizem,izoumgen,taboulkhirt, Ikis) in uniformly way although local authorities provocations and attempts to prevent the unification and prayer in Albban and despite of the distance and the rugged ways in responding to appeal of the Movement on the road of 96 which cadre the sit-in in Albban, riding cars and bicycles… to celebrate with their family who are settled in Albban for two years. As in the previous two years it has been attend the Imideriens of mass rally, which form each knockdown desperate attempts led by the mining company SMI store and their followers to the hit sit-in through the attempt to publish and segregation sedition among population starting by signing of a fabricated Agreement with people with personal interests of the common rural , "Fabricated Protocol" promoted by the silver mine (SMI) in media the population flatly rejected then launched a campaign of arrests and harassment against the militants to try to break the power of peaceful resistance. To remind that people of imider has entered at the beginning of August 2013 in the third year of protests and sit-in open to defense of economic and social rights in a file of demands ruler upped mainly to the silver mine SMI to the biggest mine which produce of silver in the world and to the authorities. And then commemorate the second anniversary of the sit-in by a march was attended by more than 4500 Imideriens took up the responsibility to the outcome and coming situations to the mining company SMI by its reject of dialogue or solution and authorities are complicit, also denounced the absence of conscience and responsibility among officials involved in the case, as well as their determination to struggle with all available means to pluck out the usurped rights.
