Immigration reform is a moral imperative – our country must find - TopicsExpress

Immigration reform is a moral imperative – our country must find a way to fix our broken system now. But Speaker Boehner signaled his intent to block any votes on any comprehensive reform this year just because. We must join together to tell him this is unacceptable. He is embarrassing Republicans who want & support immigration reform. After all it was the Republicans who pounded endlessly on the White House doors to get a bill and straighten out this immigration mess just 2 years ago. Demand that Speaker Boehner hold an up-or-down vote on HR 15, the comprehensive immigration reform bill introduced earlier this year by Congressman Joe Garcia. Reform is crucial to our economic growth and security as a country. HR 15 will help secure our borders and help programs like Social Security and Medicare by ensuring that the 11 million immigrants currently living in America are paying their fair share.
