A legal ban on production of multi dose diclofenac sodium injectable will be a major milestone for vulture conservation in India 5. At Gujarat state level it is very crucial to impose a ban on use of glass coated and Chinese manja (Kiteflying strings) 6. Preservation and monitoring of traditional safe feeding sites (Panjrapols) and Shallow village ponds which serve as nesting/roosting/water drinking sites for vultures is very important for creation of vulture safe zones in Gujarat
