Impeachment: Fintiris Political Insurgency -A Senseless Political Voyage Of A Disgraced Hypocrite:- Without appearing to be trivialising the ongoing impeachment move against Governor Murtala Nyako and his deputy, Bala Ngilari by the Adamawa State House of Assembly members and their faceless sponsors, I can boldly affirm that we are just inches away from ending the ugly reign of a political hypocrite, Hon Fintiri, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly and his team of opportunists who have no political relevance in their respective constituencies. These opportunists are daily losing their political substance in the court of public judgment as the citizenry is getting wiser by day to the reason deta for the impeachment process earlier pretended to have been initiated in the interest of the state. The role of the media so far has been commendable, insisting on the old-fashion intergrity of justice and fair-reporting as well as conducting a well coordinated and sustained media offensive on the illegalities occasioned by the constitutional breach of the House; not to talk of the investigative prowess by the members of the fifth estate of the realm. The recent call on the Hon Members by our royal fathers and religious leaders in the state underscores the dangerous path, Fintiri and his foot soldiers are treading and it is obvious that the path, like the one. Followed by the proverbial tortoise, is definitely leading Fintiri and his men to disgrace. Unfortunately for these confused, power-thirsty, eternally damned and depraved minds, the good people of Adamawa State are gradually becoming concious of their evil agenda and are fast becoming united in one voice to condemn this act that is likely to bring about an atmosphere of chaos and anarchy in the state, thereby breaking the back of the relative peace and tranquility being enjoyed by the good people of this state. The concious ones among us have since come to terms with the obvious but often manipulated fact that the impeachment is being carried out with malice and sentiment that we must all fight against inorder prevent it from setting a dangerous political precedent capable of being emulated by next generation of leaders in the state. Hon Fintiri has no doubt overstepped his bounds and the political repercussion for him is tragic as 2015 is fast appproaching. We are not only sick and tired of this shameless passsion for power at all cost even if it means to dance naked in the market square, but can’t wait to completely get them humiliated and let down by their faceless sponsors. Cowards they are, and cowards they’ll remain until we see to the end of their inglorious posture as parliamentarians in this state. We need not search too far to discover their ugly past which we will soon let the people of this state know about it. Yes we can and make no mistake about it! With each passing moment, the impeachment move is getting unpopular and this victory against these opportunists won’t cease until they are brought to their knees. The little sympathy the House recorded has since faded away. They just couldn’t stand the political fire-power of the former Naval Chief and littlwe wonder that they are now raising false alarm for threat to their lives. These guys try daily, though unsuccessfully to plant spurious information in the media just to earn public sympathy or seek for undue attention that they have risen to the occasion. Now we know better! That cheap ploy or dummy always falls flat on its face. It couldn’t achieve much. Even the illegal setting and subsequent sitting of the 7-man panel hasn’t achieved its evil aim of heating up the system or causing tension in the state. The people remain calm, alert and peaceful as they plot! They deploy several largely unsuccessful efforts to use a few mainstream media and social network platforms to spread lies, rumours and falsehood just to cause tension in the in the state. Expectedly, Fintiri and his men are good at going the extra mile to occupy the Dougirei Government House and plunder the treasury as they did in the past, but unfortunately for them, all their game plan keep failing by the day. It is no doubt a must-win political battle. We have gone a long way to surrender our mandate to these so-called representatives who seldom represent our interest in the state.
