Important Economic Event: US ISM Manufacturing PMI - 15:00 GMT, 1 December 2014 #Manufacturing PMI is a survey conducted on a monthly basis and is a leading indication of business activity in the US economy. A figure above 50 indicates industry expansion, and a figure below 50 indicates industry contraction. #PMI is seen as a leading indication of manufacturing industry activity, and therefore economic health. November’s figure is expected to decrease from 53.5 to 52, weakening investors’ confidence in the US economy. This could potentially have a bearish effect on the #USD which has been struggling to hold its ground recently after major rallies.
